This is to inform all the parents of RAM CHANDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL GOVERDHAN, UP that as per the Uttarakhand Government act and vide letter RCPS/2024/98 dated 23 April 2024, the lottery for the formation of Executive committee of PTA of RAM CHANDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL GOVERDHAN was conducted on April 27, 2024 under the supervision of committee consisting of the following member:

3. Mr. Pankaj Kausik (Advocate)
4. A Representative from the BSA

ANTI- SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMMITTEE

RAM CHANDRA PUBLIC SCHOOL is a co-education institute. As per the guidelines
issued by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and CBSE instructions vide
CBSE/Admn.I/14(6)/2004 dated February 16, 2004 on Sexual Harassment of Women
and Students at work place in the institutions, it is obligatory for the school to constitute
an Anti – Sexual Harassment Committee for female employees/girls (students) in the
school.
The present members of the complaints committee is constituted to deal with the
complaints of sexual harassment in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the
supreme court of India and the Act mentioned at Para 1 above relating to sexual
harassment of women workers at work places and girls (students).

POCSO COMMITTEE:

All children have as equal right to access education in an environment that is safe, protective and conducive to the overall development. The challenges of gender inequality, eve-teasing and sexual abuse in school environment call for increased awareness and creating synergy among parents, teachers and school. In order to ensure strict compliance of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Committee (POCSO) Act 2012, CBSE has taken several initiatives and actions for creating awareness about sexual exploitation among school children. The committee will take appropriate and necessary action on reported cases of misbehaviours of sexual offences in the school premises.
